Red Attire Is Encouraged
Why Else Should I Attend the Go Red for Women Luncheon?
Approximately 2,500 heart attacks and 2.100 strokes occur in our nation everyday, education may help to save your life or the life of someone you love.
More than 670,000 women's lives have been saved by the Go Red for Women Initiative since its launch in 2004.
90% of women who sign up for Go Red make at least one heart healthy life or behavior change.
Go Red for Women has raised $350 million for research and education.
You can be a part of the positive impact that the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association makes...and it could all begin at Go Red!
MEN Go Red! How can Men get involved?
Men are always welcome at our Go Red Luncheons. But, additionally, they can offer an amazing amount of love and support for the special women in their lives to encourage them to make healthy choices as a friend, a couple, or a family. Often, when someone struggles with heart disease and/or stroke, those individuals serve as an inspiration to us all. This year, men will be given the opportunity to speak out at our event. We will have an electronic Dedication Wall constantly scrolling with messages of love, hope, and inspiration from the special men in our community.
